UltraViewer for Android: there is no APK, and here is what does work

There is no UltraViewer for Android. What matters more are the "UltraViewer APK" files circulating online — with remote desktop software, installing a fake build hands a stranger the ability to watch your screen and tap on your behalf. Here is the real situation, then a way to do what you need.

Checked, not assumed

On 28 August 2026 the official download page at ultraviewer.net offered exactly one file: UltraViewer_setup_6.6.133_vi.exe — a Windows installer. The home page states support for "all Windows operating systems". There is no Google Play app and no .apk anywhere.

Every "UltraViewer APK" you find is not from the developer. A remote control app on Android needs the Accessibility permission — the permission to read everything on screen and tap for you. That is precisely the permission banking malware wants most. Installing an APK from an unknown source and then granting it that permission is the worst thing you can do to your phone.

Using Android to control a computer

On the computer (Windows or macOS): install the app, leave it running. It shows a machine code and a 6-digit password.
On the phone: open the web app in a browser, or install the Android app if you will use it often.
Enter the code and password. Done.

No shared Wi-Fi, no router ports, no IP addresses. Turn the phone sideways and zoom in about 2× and it is usable for most things.

Controlling an Android device remotely

This is something UltraViewer cannot do in either direction, and Chat Remote can. Requires Android 8.0 or later.

Install the app on the Android device that needs to be controlled.
Grant it the Accessibility permission in Settings. Android requires this of every piece of software that injects touch input — there is no way around it, and the app explains why before sending you there.
The app shows a machine code and password. The other person enters them and is connected.

Precisely because the Accessibility permission is that powerful, only grant it to an app you downloaded from the official source. That rule applies to all software, not just this one — and it is why this article tells you to stay away from the loose APKs above.

What you see while being controlled

A red bar that cannot be dismissed, with a stop button, visible for the whole session. There is no way in unseen.
Pressing that button ends the session instantly.
When you grant access you also choose how long — until you stop it (the default), 15 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, or all day. When it expires the access disappears.
You can see who currently has access and revoke it with one click.
Screen frames and every action travel directly between the two machines, end-to-end encrypted. The server cannot read the content.

You do not have to drop UltraViewer
